Tyrel Movie Review from @kleffnotes
In the vein of race focused features like Get Out, Tyrel focuses on a young man named Tyler who agrees to go to the mountains on a weekend birthday trip with one of his friends. The only downside of the trip is that Tyler is the only black man there. With heavy drinking and a secluded environment he begins to feel uneasy and slowly starts to feel like he is trapped in a nightmare situation. Continue reading “Tyrel Movie Review from @kleffnotes”
#ProvenInnocent SEAL Team Deep Six S1Ep10 Preview via @stacyamiller85 @InnocentonFOX @RachelleLefevre @RileySmith @Dannystrong
Proven Innocent follows an underdog criminal defense firm led by MADELINE SCOTT (Rachelle Lefevre, “Under the Dome,” “A Gifted Man”), a fierce and uncompromising lawyer with a hunger for justice. There is no one who understands the power of setting an innocent person free more than Madeline. At age 18, she was wrongfully convicted, along with her brother, LEVI (Riley Smith, “Frequency”), in a sensational murder case that made her an infamous media obsession, a household name and a national cause célèbre.
Madeline runs the firm with her partner, EASY BOUDREAU (Russell Hornsby, “Seven Seconds,” “Grimm”), the very lawyer who helped set her free after 10 years in prison. Their team also includes investigator BODIE QUICK (Vincent Kartheiser, “Mad Men”) and communications director VIOLET BELL (Tony Award winner Nikki M. James, “BrainDead,” “The Good Wife,” “The Book of Mormon”), who runs a true-crime podcast that follows each investigation.
While a hero and a victim to some, Madeline’s bold and bullish tactics earn her a number of enemies – especially GORE BELLOWS (Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Kelsey Grammer, “Frasier,” “Cheers,” “Boss”), the prosecutor who initially put her away and still believes in her guilt. Despite Bellows’ ceaseless quest to see her behind bars again, Madeline will continue to defend others, even as she fights to maintain her innocence and searches for the real killer in her own case.
PROVEN INNOCENT is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, in association with Danny Strong Productions. The pilot is written by David Elliot. Strong, Elliot and Stacy Greenberg are executive producers. Adam Armus is an executive producer and showrunner. (Fox.com)
#ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes
ClexaCon 2019 is over and we’ve all left the bright lights of Las Vegas behind to return to our normal every day lives. Typically after a major trip or event I film a recap video, but with the number of topics connected to this year’s ClexaCon I believe an article will be a better vessel for covering everything in a clear and detailed way. This is not a short article and does include some more personal elements to the weekend outside of the convention itself. Continue reading “#ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes”
