On General Hospital, it’s the moment viewers have been waiting for: Michael (Chad Duell) finally learns he’s Wiley’s father!
Residents of Port Charles believe Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) son Wiley is the baby they adopted. Sadly, that baby died. But viewers (and a few select people like Liesl and Julian) know the truth: Wiley Cooper Jones is actually Jonah, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael’s son. Shortly after his birth, Nelle gave her infant, to Brad for he and Lucas to raise. This was a cruel form of payback for the family by allowing them to grieve Johan. But Nelle thought it justified. She especially wanted Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael to suffer after the way they treated her. Sure she was off to prison for her crimes, but Nelle had the last laugh all the way to Pentonville.
This elaborate ruse reached epic proportions with the arrival of Aiden (Jason David) and Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) teacher Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Ms. Tait met Michael at a support group for parents who lost children. They struck up a conversation and soon became friends. But whereas Michael’s son died (or so he believed), Willow admitted she’d given her baby up for adoption. And quicker than you can say “Welcome to the storyline Willow,” viewers learned she was Wiley’s (The real Wiley) birth mother. To up the ante, swarmy Dawn of Day (DOD) cult leader David Henry Archer a.k.a Shiloh (Coby McLaughlin) was revealed as the father of Willow’s baby.
Attempting damage control and needing help, Brad turned to father-in-law Julian Jerome (William deVry). He changed his initial lie that the birth mother was a homeless woman when Julian realized Willow was the mother. But by this time, Willow developed a bond with Wiley and became a presence in the child’s life.
With Jerome’s assistance, the cover-up continued. However, Julian grew tired of Brad’s demands for help. Actually, he just grew tired of Brad altogether reasoning the best thing for Lucas’ happiness was to rid his son-in-law. First, Julian threatened Brad to leave town. When that didn’t work, he hired a bartender at The Metro Court to send nude photos and suggestive texts to Cooper’s cellphone for Lucas to discover so he’d think Brad was having an affair. But Brad was like that bad penny you can’t get throw away; he wasn’t going anywhere. It looked like a more permanent course of action was required. Papa Victor Jerome must have been cheering in Hell for Julian used the tried and true mobster way of dealing with a problem: Arranging to murder Brad! And General Hospital used the tried and true way to delay the Wiley secret: The wrong person getting hurt and in a coma (Lucas). Sure Brad confessed the truth to Lucas right before the accident. But Lucas didn’t remember… until now.

How will Brad, Nelle and Julian get out of this once the truth is revealed? And how will Willow react when she learns her baby died? Stay tuned.
