Mr. Crypt just wants to have a life, but that’s harder than our poor skeleton ever would have expected.
This humorous take on horror starts with a skeleton rising from the grave, but he’s not in search of brains, just information. Even though he can’t remember who he is after outrunning one mob, he decides to rename himself Mr. Crypt. Throughout this first comic we get to see him starting his new life after death while trying not to accidentally incite more mobs. Mr. Crypt still manages to have fun and make friends, which makes this the perfect comic for those morbid little munchkins in your life.
I thought this comic was a fun little read. I’ve always enjoyed spooky things and reading Mr. Crypt took me back to my childhood of reading Edgar and Ellen and Mercer Mayer’s Critters of the Night. The stories are cute and even though Mr. Crypt is a skeleton, he just wants to have a life. It’s a fun and lighthearted comic that is a nice little pick me up at the end of the day.
