It looks like an exciting week ahead on ABC’s General Hospital.
One of the stories taking the forefront of the action is the Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) saga. General Hospital viewers know the serial killer has been wrecking havoc leaving murder and mayhem in his wake. He’s killed three people: Mary Pat Ingels (Patricia Bethune), Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Peyton Mills. His recent attempted murder attack on Lulu Falconieri (Emme Rylan) resulted in the arrest of Franco Baldwin (Roger Hogwarth). Fortunately for Franco, Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Henry) knows Franco is innocent. Unfortunately for Franco, she came up with a plan in which he plead guilty to the murders and was unable to alert those nearest and dearest to him, in particular new wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), it was all part of a plan to lure the real killer out in the open. Now, Jordan has been the victim of a car accident (On the Friday, February 22, 2019 episode, Drew suffered from a bout of blindness due to the “twin virus” and accidentally ran her down with his car). With Jordan being the only one besides him who knows about the plan, does Franco stand a chance at gaining his freedom should Jordan be rendered comatose or worst? And let’s not forget that Franco believes Ryan is Kevin…will he spill the beans about the plan to the killer by mistake believing he’s telling his psychiatrist?
Jon Lindstrom’s portrayal of the twisted serial killer has been nothing short of brilliant. Ryan has managed to commit murder right under the noses of the unsuspecting citizens of Port Charles while staying one step ahead of law enforcement by conferring with the police commissioner as a psychiatrist familiar with the working mind of a serial killer.
It seems that everything is unraveling…is Ryan’s reign of terror coming to an end? Stay tuned.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
