Fangirl Freakouts: Barbelle S2 Eps 1-6 ( @BARBELLE_SERIES @KindaTV_ ) from @kleffnotes

I filmed this video before the Barbelle finale and am focusing on episodes 1 through 6, since those were the episodes out when I did get a chance to film. I am planning a follow-up video to chat the rest of the season a little bit later in May. In case you haven’t seen it I also had a chance to ask the creators and stars of the show, Gwenlyn Cumyn and Karen Knox, some questions about everything Season Two. While this isn’t technically a My Kinda Recaps, think of it as a bit of a blast from the past. Fangirl Freakouts: iZombie S5 Brain Food Snack Guide from @kleffnotes

iZombie is back!! While I am excited to see new episodes, I’m going into this season sad to see it end. While typically I would do a specific recipe for the first episode of the season I’m doing things a little bit different this time. I have your snacking guide for the debut episode of Season Five and throughout the season I’ll be suggesting either pre-made food items or recipes you can try out for Brain Food. Enjoy! Fangirl Freakouts: Sam and Pat Are Depressed ( @_UndeadBurrito_ ) from @kleffnotes

Sam and Pat are Depressed season two is well under way and while I previously did a feature focusing on the new season, I wanted to spend a little more time delving into some elements, primarily guests, that I didn’t in that article. This series is a such an important work, not only for the focus it gives to mental health, but also for the inclusion of an asexual character. You can find Sam and Pat Are Depressed on Stareable and Seeka TV now, but soon it’ll be on YouTube. #ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes

ClexaCon 2019 is over and we’ve all left the bright lights of Las Vegas behind to return to our normal every day lives. Typically after a major trip or event I film a recap video, but with the number of topics connected to this year’s ClexaCon I believe an article will be a better vessel for covering everything in a clear and detailed way. This is not a short article and does include some more personal elements to the weekend outside of the convention itself. Continue reading “#ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes”

Fangirl Freakouts: Queering ( @QueeringWeb ) @ClexaCon Feature from @kleffnotes

Harper is moving on after a toxic nine year relationship, but is shocked when her mom reveals she has come out publicly as bisexual. Queering is an emotional work that examines biphobia as well as the struggles of coming out. This series spoke to me in such a powerful way and I am excited to know it is part of the ClexaCon film festival this year. Fangirl Freakouts: Love Language @ClexaCon Feature from @kleffnotes

Rebecca Shoptaw is an exceptional digital creator and one of her more recent projects is Love Language. This beautiful web series has no dialogue, but is full of emotion and elegance. I recently chatted with her about the series and the screening at ClexaCon this year and wanted to share my own thoughts.
