There was a huge announcement made about The CW’s Supernatural on Friday, March 22, 2019.
On Thursday, September 18, 2008 Dean Winchester was pulled out of Hell by an angel named Castiel. Meeting this heavenly being changed Dean’s world forever. And Supernatural was introduced to a new character that would become a part of the Winchesters’ lives.
Supernatural fans will have a chance to see Misha Collins as someone other than Castiel.
On Thursday, September 18, 2008, Dean Winchester experienced a miracle. He was pulled out of Hell by an Angel who exclaimed “I’m the one who grabbed you tight and raised you from Perdition.” And with those words, the introduction of Castiel and his place in the life of the Winchesters was forever cemented.
Can’t be at San Diego Comic Con? Don’t fear, you have an angel to the rescue!
This July, the road so far will take Supernatural cast members Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Misha Collins (Castiel) and Mark Sheppard (Crowley) to San Diego.
After a few stand-alone episodes, Supernatural returns to its mythology with Sam and Dean seeking a way to save Castiel from the Devil and to stop The Darkness, Amara. Which unfortunately may involve making a deal with another devil, Crowley.
Supernatural stars Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles are proving that they care about the emotional and mental well being of their fans.
For anyone who thinks that Supernatural was beginning to lose its stride, think again. Last night’s episode “The Devil Is In The Details” was one of the most enjoyable hours on television for a show coming back from winter hiatus. Not bad for a show that is in its eleventh season!
