It’s the first anniversary for Jared Padalecki’s Always Keep Fighting campaign.
Whether it is the Yellow-Eyed demon or Lucifer himself, heroic brothers Sam and Dean Winchester always keep fighting.
Jared Padalecki taught people suffering from anxiety and depression that they are not alone, that they matter and that they have the strength to Always Keep Fighting. On March 3, 2015, the very talented and compassionate Supernatural actor launched his Always Keep Fighting campaign. The campaign sold thousands of Represent t shirts all to support those suffering from anxiety and depression.
Padalecki himself has been a vocal supporter of non profit organization Attitudes in Reverse. This organization works tirelessly to start the conversation and to end the stigma associated with mental illness.
Today is the first year anniversary of the Always Keep Fighting campaign. In one short year, this campaign has succeeded in creating a community and giving a voice to countless people burdened by the isolation and stigma associated with depression. My contribution, although small, is to try to create a poetic voice for this cause that is so close to my heart and has helped me so much.
