The Creators #6 @ALTERNACOMICS Review from @kleffnotes

In The Creators #6, the final issue in the first volume of The Creators series, Maya and Roxie have managed to find their Creations and are drawn into an unexpected battle with the headmistress, former Creator Morgan. Things turn violent as the girls learn just what evil deeds have been going on within the secret locked unit of the Academy.

Maya and Roxie learn that Morgan has been torturing their Creations in order to learn how to destroy and control them. Not only that, but she’s been experimenting on students who she calls the graduates. While Roxie wants to save their Creations and leave, Maya insists that they need to regroup and find a way to save all of the students. Before they can make an official plan, Morgan appears and uses her newly supplemented mind to create a dangerous Creation. Simon, who has found a way to sneak in, saves the two girls from imminent death, but Roxie finds a way to save the Creations. The trio, along with their Creations, are able to escape, but Morgan covers up the truth of happened and lies to the students. While no one at the Academy knows the truth, the escaped Creators and Creations begin working on a plan to go back and rescue everyone.

The fighting within this issue was exceptionally dramatic and throughout The Creators I have loved the Creations and their depictions. These imagined beings add so much to the story and seeing them fight against each other was amazing. I have really enjoyed this series and I look forward to reading more about Maya, Roxie, and Simon in their battle against Morgan in the future.
