Thirteen Reasons Why The Book By: Jay Asher Review By @erinwise82

By now you’ve probably heard of the Netflix series inspired by this book….so by now you know who Hannah Baker is and you know her story.

I needed more….I needed the book.

Though both the series and the book were very much the same….there were quite a bit of differences…..some of which I’m positive were done to dramatize the scenes….others to show suicide is not pretty, it is not something to take lightly, it is gruesome and grizzly….and most importantly… permanent.

The nature of this book is something we are seeing more and more of across this world….with this series hopefully more light is being shed on this subject and more people reach out for help.

That being said if you or someone you know needs help please reach out! Depression is real and there are people who can help. You can visit & 1-800-SUICIDE which are both available 24/7. If anything contact me and I’ll help you get in touch with the proper people.

This book is not for the faint of heart but is a really interesting read and interesting Netflix series.
