It’s been over two months since James Read appeared on General Hospital.
The first and only time viewers have seen James Read (North and South, Charmed, Days of Our Lives) was on the July 6 episode when he ran into his son Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) while Finn was in town to support girlfriend Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who was visiting her daughter Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough). I looked forward to seeing Read creating the character of Gregory Chase. But besides for that one day, he’s been absent from the soap.
James Read fans will be pleased to learn Gregory is back. He’ll appear on the Friday, September 21 episode where he’ll again run into son Finn. See preview below:
I’m certain Read will share a scene or two with his Charmed wife Patty, actress Finola Hughes who currently plays General Hospital’s Anna Devane since she is Finn’s girlfriend. But will Gregory have any opportunity to meet Anna’s son Peter August actor Wes Ramsey, who was the adult version of his Charmed grandson Wyatt?
Regardless, here’s hoping with today’s appearance we’ll see James Read more frequently and learn more of the Chase family history.
