Michael “Sonny” Corinthos Jr. may cause fear for his enemies on ABC’s General Hospital. But Maurice Benard will take on a different kind of horror in Nightmare Cinema hitting theaters on June 21, 2019.

Benard plays Father Benedict. Nightmare Cinema is written by Mick Garris, Alejandro Brugués, Sandra Becerrill, David Slade, Lawrence Connolly and directed by Alejandro Brugués, Joe Dante, Ryuhei Kitamura, David Slade and Mick Garris

It stars Mickey Rourke as The Projectionist, Richard Chamberlain as Dr. Mirari, Adam Godley as Dr. Salvatore.

Here’s the synopsis: “Five strangers watch their deepest and darkest fears play out before them in an abandoned theater as the Projectionist preys upon their souls with his collection of disturbing films.”
