The Rookie returns for Season 5 on September 25, 2022. The Rookie moves to Tuesdays beginning January 3, 2023.

Season Finale. Season 5 Episode 22 is titled “Under Siege” Here is the synopsis: “After one of their own is shot, the team suffers a series of close calls and realizes their division may be a target for a group of masked assailants.”
