Catching Up With @DavidHaydnJones on #Supernatural ‘s Mr. Ketch via @stacyamiller85 @cw_spn

Whether or not viewers were fans of the British Men of Letters story line in Supernatural’s Season 12, there’s no denying that David Haydn-Jones who played Arthur Ketch was well received. He took a villainous character who was an adversary to Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) and made him into something more. Viewers were intrigued, we wanted to know what was behind the debonair British charm…what made Arthur Ketch tick?  I know we all had questions. Sadly, we’ll never get all the answers.

The Nerdy Girl Express thanks David Haydn-Jones for being so kind and generous to allow us to share his thoughts on Ketch following the character’s demise at the hands of Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) in the preseason finale episode “Who We Are.” Read on to find out what David Haydn-Jones thought about Arthur Ketch, his feelings for Mary and more.

Interview With @DavidHaydnJones #Supernatural ‘s Mr. Ketch via @stacyamiller85 @cw_spn

In Season 12, The CW’s Supernatural introduced us to the elusive Mr. Arthur Ketch, a suave, yet dangerous operative with the British Men of Letters (BMOL).  Mr. Ketch was the person who the BMOL called whenever a situation got out of hand. Ketch is the eliminator of problems and is relied upon to make sure difficulties are dealt with i.e. oftentimes, this means permanently removing a person by killing them.  But Arthur Ketch is more than a gun for hire.  He’s a complicated man who viewers are slowly starting to get to know.  Ketch believes in honor and follows the BMOL’s twisted code without question.

Actor David Haydn-Jones portrays Arthur Ketch to perfection.  And in a short time, Haydn-Jones has endeared himself to Supernatural fans. He has taken Ketch and made him more than a villain and foil for Sam and Dean Winchester. Here is a layered character and through David Haydn-Jones’ acting talents, we look forward to peeling back these layers.

Haydn-Jones took time from his busy Supernatural shooting schedule to answer The Nerdy Girl Express’ questions on his fascinating character.  Read on to find out what he had to say.

Thoughts on #Supernatural S12Ep6 written by @SleepyPanda76 via @stacyamiller85 @cw_spn

The Miller Twins Talk Supernatural will be going on hiatus as my twin and writing partner Tracy Miller is unable to write the feature at this time.  However, I couldn’t let an episode of Supernatural pass without sharing my thoughts on the series which seems to have gotten better with age, stepping up its game because of the continued talents of the actors and crew.  Additionally, new writers Davy Perez (who I had the pleasure of interviewing recently), Meredith Glynn and Steve Yockey have really added a fresh perspective to the long running series while staying true to the characters and show.

And their last experience with a religious family turned out to be a cult of werewolves.  And if the title of the Supernatural episode “American Nightmare airing November 3 is any indication, the Winchester brothers are not in for a fun time.
