Amazing Age #5 @ALTERNACOMICS Review from @kleffnotes

In the thrilling conclusion to the five part series Amazing Age, our three young heroes known as J.E.T. find themselves fighting for their lives with no help from the heroes who have been training them. This intense issue will delve deep into what makes a hero and how your past can help you see what you can be.

Sam, Violet, and Mike find themselves facing imminent death at the hands of The Gee. With their hands cuffed in special devices, Mike and Violet cannot use their powers, but Sam is trying to find a way to get his to appear. As he tries to protect his friends Sam suddenly thinks back to his father and finds himself filled with a new energy. With his powers finally functioning J.E.T. has a chance to battle their way free. After fighting together, J.E.T. is joined by a number of other heroes in a massive fight of good against evil.

This final issue of Amazing Age was a wonderful way to end the current run of the series. The flashback Sam has of his dad was so sweet and it was such a wonderful moment for the character. There are emotional moments within this specific issue, but our three characters seem to have found their friendship rekindled. Keep your eye out for the prequel issue #0 coming out in May of this year for more of J.E.T. and their heroic antics.
