Zero Jumper #1 @ALTERNACOMICS Newsprint Review from @kleffnotes

Zero Jumper #1 throws you right into the action of the series. Before even naming the main character we are with her as she jumps slightly backward in time on a mission that might just kill her. The series certainly knows how to get off to a running start and you’ll need to be ready to jump right in.

Our main character isn’t officially named until the final page of this issue so I’m going to leave you in a bit of suspense. I will say that she is on a mission to fix events that have gone horribly wrong and have led to a massive apocalyptic event. In order to correct these events she needs to find the energy to power her suit and be able to go back far enough in time to basically re-write it. You’ll definitely want to check out this action filled sci-fi series once it hits stores.

I had a great time reading Zero Jumper #1. There is a lot going on and through all of it our lead character is hilarious. She knows what she needs to do and frequently doesn’t get along exactly with her digital companion iO. The fight scenes were impressive and I’m very curious to see what she does going forward in the series. I also want to know just what happened that has led her to need to fix so much history. There are some hints to darker forces that are working against her, but you’ll just have to check out Zero Jumper #1 to find out what’s happening. Keep an eye out for it in your local comic book store and keep up with Alterna Comics online for sale dates.
