Katy Keene is an upcoming American musical comedy-drama television series developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Michael Grassi, based on the Archie Comics character of the same name. It chronicles the origins and struggles of four aspiring artists trying attain successful careers on Broadway, on the runway, and in the recording studio. Katy Keene is a spin-off of Riverdale, and takes place five years after the events of the former. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions, in association with Archie Comics, Warner Bros. Television, and CBS Television Studios.
Lucy Hale stars as Katy Keene, an aspiring fashion designer trying to navigate her way in New York City. Ashleigh Murray, Camille Hyde, Jonny Beauchamp, Julia Chan, Lucien Laviscount, Zane Holtz, and Katherine LaNasa also star, with Murray reprising her role as Josie McCoy from Riverdale (Wikipedia).
Season Finale. Season 1 Episode 13 is titled “Chapter Thirteen: Come Together” Here is the synopsis: “Katy is starting to see things a little more clearly and needs Gloria’s help to make her plan work and it leads her to unexpected opportunities. Eager to make things right, Pepper finds a way to make it right with Jorge and Josie, but she must also try to let go of people in her past. Jorge holds a rally to stop the sale of his parents building, but he has no idea who he is going up against. Meanwhile, Josie is worried about Alexander and turns to someone unexpected for help.”
