For anyone who hasn’t heard, Damien is a new show that will debut on A&E this year. It is about Damien Thorn, the child from the classic horror film The Omen, all grown up and finding out he’s the antichrist.

Damien has repressed everything that happened while he was a child. Now a war photographer, bad things seem to always happen around him and after coming home he finds out even more. What will Damien do? What will the people around him do?

The show has an all-star cast and crew, so you know it’s going to be well done. Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead, The Shield) is the creator, writer and executive producer of it. It stars Bradley James (Merlin, iZombie, Homeland) as the title Damien Thorn as well as having Omid Abtahi (Argo), Megalyn Echikunwoke (90210), Barbara Hershey (Once Upon a Time) and David Meunier (Justified).

The past couple days has been a flurry of new information. First we have the new poster for Damien.

This also tells us when Damien will be on, March 7th after the season 4 premiere of Bates Motel. Bates Motel comes on at 9:00 PM/ET so Damien will show at 10:00PM/ET. You’ll definitely want to catch both shows!

Finally I was able to catch on twitter the press kit that was sent out. It looks to include some more info on Damien, along with a copy of the new poster, a creepy little note and a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8. An updated Polaroid camera for the modern age; this is a representation of Damien being a photographer. Nicely done A&E. I’m also really jealous and would love to get one of these one day, just saying.
