Brain Food from @kleffnotes: Spicy Brain Ball ( @iZombieWriters @CWiZombie )

Goodness gracious great balls of fire! This week I delve into the delicious world of party appetizers, perfect for any zombie affair with my spicy brain ball. Still a quick and easy recipe and it takes just a few minutes to mix it up so you can definitely throw this together for any iZombie viewing night.

8 oz cream cheese

1 cup shredded white cheese (I used jalapeno and habanero cheese)

8 drops red food dye

Hot sauce to taste

In a mixing bowl soften your cream cheese with a hand or stand mixer on low to medium power.

Once softened add your cup of shredded cheese and stir together with a spatula.

After combining these ingredients, add in a few drops of hot sauce and stir again.

Then add in the 8 drops of food dye and stir until fully incorporated.

Depending on the level of spice you may need to wear gloves for this part, either grease your hands lightly or grease a pair of food prep gloves as best as possible. Pick up cheese mixture and roll into a ball.

Once rolled put on plate and either cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate or grab some crackers and start eating.

This recipe can be done in a variety of ways. You could use flavored cream cheese, different types of shredded cheese, and any kind of hot sauce so this one can be personalized for your specific hoard.
