Christmas Episode Highlights from @kleffnotes

This year I thought I would focus on some more recent holiday themed things to watch instead of delving into my list of classics. I tried to keep everything pretty recent, though some I know are at least a year old, but I happened to have just watched them this year.

The first suggestion is a bit of a throwback and is actually something I recommended last year. I love every holiday themed episode of Bob’s Burgers no matter what the holiday. Christmas Day seems like the perfect time to go back through the series and watch all of the Christmas themed episodes. I mean that gingerbread house contest cracks me up every time and the Bleakening Parts One and Two were so great and not what I expected.

I recently decided to actually check out Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. I know tons of people have seen this series and that our own writer, Stacy, covers it every week. After a very solid binge one of my favorite episodes involves that blue and furry toy of wonder, Beebo. The season three episode Beebo the God of War is so much fun and includes multiple holidays all in one episode. I also totally wanted a Beebo as soon as this episode ends so it is definitely worth the watch, plus if you’ve got time you could even binge a few episodes of the series instead of just watching this one episode.

These next two suggestions are both magical and one of them might surprise you. The first of these magical watches is The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Christmas special. I had no idea that I needed this show to have a Christmas special, but I totally did. My second suggestion in this block is actually the new Charmed Christmas episode. I will admit that I was not sure if I would like this series. I had watched most of the original series, I know I missed some episodes at some point and over the years have yet to catch up, and I didn’t know if this new version could live up to it. This is another series that our writer Stacy covers and after a bit of waffling I decided to check out the first episode. I’ve been intently watching since then and magic mixed with the holidays just seems so perfect. Now if you haven’t been watching the series this specific suggestion might involve a little bit of catch up first.

Those are my major suggestions for a bit of holiday watching. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing day today no matter how you are spending it.
