Flatline By: Meagan Spears Book Review from @erinwise82

Let me say from the very beginning, this is not my type of book. I am more of the sci-fi/fantasy type of reader. After many hardships and losses of my own, those things are the last things I want to read about. However, when a writer reaches out and shows you what they’ve accomplished, you get out of your comfort zone and check it out.

Meagan Spears’ debut novel is an emotional rollercoaster…and I mean that in the best way possible!!!!
In this novel, paramedic Christa Reeves is thrown through a loop when journalist Alice Underwood enters her life on assignment. Alice’s mission: to show off the help that save our lives every single day and the incredible sacrifices they make. Working with Christa on shifts, Alice really gets to see the true sacrifices being made…..even seeing what it’s like to love someone in this type of field…..
As Alice gets closer, Christa’s uneasy past seeps back.
I really don’t know how to explain this book without giving it away….I guess I could tell you…..even during the lowest points of our lives, there’s always hope. Through loss there can be growth. Death does not always mean the end, there could be another chapter to your story.
This is one of those books you just have to read. You JUST have to. Nitty and gritty, uplifting and positive, this book has it all.
