What You Can Do at ClexaCon Today Thursday 4/5 from @kleffnotes ( @ClexaCon )

While panels don’t begin until tomorrow, ClexaCon is offering some great things for people today that you can enjoy. While these aren’t going to be covered technically, I’m not the best at poolside texting, I still wanted to share everything you can check out. Please note all times listed in the article are West Coast/PST specific.

If you are coming to ClexaCon alone or just hoping to meet some cool new people Speed Friending will be taking place in the Tropicana Lounge from 1-3. A minimum one dollar donation is expected in order to participate, this money will be given to a local non-profit. I traveled solo to ClexaCon last year and met some amazing people, but I would have loved to do this. I am sure it will be a blast!

Following Speed Friending there will be a pool takeover at Sky Beach from 3-5. It’ll be easy to find, just keep an eye out for unicorns. Wear whatever you are comfortable in and if you aren’t big on swimming you can always hangout on dry land. I’ll have plenty of sunscreen on hand in case you need it, I burn like a tomato so I’m prepared.

In the evening for anyone 21 years or older there will be a badge pick-up party at Piranha Nightclub from 6-10. You can stay for the entire time or just pop in and out depending on your plans for the evening. If you are under 21 badges will be available for pick-up on Friday at 9 am, so don’t fret folks. I didn’t go to this event last year so I’m very curious to see how it goes.

Outside of ClexaCon related events there are a ton of things to do in Las Vegas so don’t forget to check those out too!

You can also find out more about the convention on their official website.
