What You Can Do at ClexaCon Today Monday 4/9 from @kleffnotes ( @ClexaCon )

ClexaCon is drawing to a close, but you can still have a great time even if you happen to be leaving. There are some official events and I also have my own tips for making the best of your Monday. Please note all times listed in the article are West Coast/PST specific.

To start the day there is a Farewell Breakfast from 8-10 so that you can make sure to say goodbye to everyone and get some last minute hanging out in.

The Pool Hangout is from 11-2. Again keep en eye out for the unicorns if you plan to attend. You can stay the whole time or just pop in and check in with people. I personally won’t be swimming today, but it still sounds like a fun way to enjoy the day.

There also might be additional events scattered throughout the day so keep an eye on the ClexaCon social media accounts and their official website.

Outside of official ClexaCon events I have some of my own personal tips for how to enjoy the day, especially if it happens to be your last one in Vegas. First I want to remind you to make sure you can get everything packed in your suitcase and that you haven’t forgotten anything. Make sure to check your room so you don’t accidentally leave anything behind. If you are flying try and get to the airport early. I know that tip is pretty standard, but set an alarm or reminder so that you don’t accidentally miss your flight while you’re enjoying the city.

Now the first suggestion I have is if you’ve never gambled in Vegas and are the legal age to do so give it a shot. I’m not saying do anything big, but you can find some pretty cheap slot machines and those are always fun. I never win anything doing it, but you can at least say you played the slots in Vegas when you get back home.

Second is a pretty high one on my list, get Krispy Kreme donuts! I know that isn’t really big for a lot of people, but there is a Krispy Kreme on the Strip that constantly has hot donuts and I am so getting some today. We don’t have a Krispy Kreme anywhere near where I live so I’m doing a bit of indulging before I have to hit the road, well air I guess.

My third and final suggestion is make sure to say goodbye to all of your new friends and have a way to stay in touch. You can swap social media handles, emails, whatever you are comfortable with so you can keep connected to these new people in your life.

I hope you have a great Monday and enjoy the rest of your time in Vegas!
