Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Book Review from @kleffnotes

As someone raised during the era of Mister Rogers I have fond memories of the series and watching it on PBS. With so many books and even movies dedicated to the beloved Fred Rogers this small read is the perfect book to find near the holidays. This beautifully illustrated work showcases the life lessons that were shared over the years by Mister Rogers.

Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood from Melissa Wagner, who worked with Fred Rogers on several books, Fred Rogers Productions, the non-profit producer of the series founded by Fred Rogers in 1971, and illustrator Max Dalton shows Mister Rogers and his cast of characters in scenes that touch on themes of kindness, empathy, self care, respect, and love. Each page is full of color and delight, perfect for readers both young and old.

This book reminded me of the Golden Books I once read and while the story inside is vignettes focused on the lessons of the show, it can be read all the way through. I think this could be a perfect gift for parents who wish to share the wisdom of Mister Rogers with their children or it could work for someone who wants a bit of a pick me up in their day to day life. This is the perfect gift for someone this year and you can get your copy today.
