*Spoilers*

Out of the Darkness, Into Supernatural

Last Wednesday night’s return of Supernatural Season 11 was a much anticipated. The hours leading up to the premiere was riddled with excitement. I know I was on edge, kept looking at the time to make sure I wasn’t missing anything.

9:00pm comes and the show begins……finally. Jensen Ackles got his wish! He wanted one of the brothers to be missing from the car when the Darkness cleared, Sam opened his eyes and Dean was gone. Was I the only one holding my breath? Thank goodness he was only a mile away. They let us know right away that the Darkness is not a thing but person so to speak. She saved Dean, he saved her, they are bound to each other by the mark, as we found out through flashback scenes.

The boys come across bodies, lots of bodies, on the road and this is where they meet a lady cop and have a brief guns up who are you moment. They soon find out via the cop the the road crew went crazy and killed a family, she was dispatched and had no choice but to kill the crew. The crew is infected with something, their necks are all black. It’s kinda like they’re possessed or something. After talking with the cop, Dean sees she’s injured and they head to the hospital. More dead bodies, tons of dead bodies. It seems everyone who was in the hospital is dead, dead, dead, except for a little baby girl. Her father was alive but was infected and left her in the care of the cop and the boys. He died, but not before naming the little bundle of joy, Amara.

Now I’m not gonna tell you everything that happened. I was happy to see that Crowley survived, I mean come on the show wouldn’t be the same without him. Seeing him as a woman was down right hilarious!  Cas is still under the influence of Rowena’ s spell, and after so long we see him pray once again, pray for forgiveness and help. His brothers come and take him away, but not to heaven. How Cas is gonna get out of this mess is going to be very interesting, to as the least.

So now here we are, Sam playing the bait to make sure Dean, the cop, and the baby make it out safe. The trio makes it out of town, while Sam battles, what he’s calling the rabbids. Now we all knew Sam was going to end up infected, he knew it, Dean knew it. The show ended showing us the mark on the baby as it was on Darkness.

Two new characters on the show…..one a baby…….this season is going to be quite interesting.
