Anyone who watches Sleepy Hollow knows that Abigail (Abbie) Mills will go to Hell (well, Purgatory) and high water for those she loves.

Actress Nicole Beharie has created an inspiring character as Abbie Mills on Sleepy Hollow.  She plays a woman of strength who is not afraid to risk everything for the greater good. She’s a caring friend as well as a loving sister.  The troubles she and sister Jenny faced in the past has made their sisterly bond stronger.

I can’t speak for every viewer of Sleepy Hollow, but I am very happy Nicole was cast in the role of Abbie. She has amazing chemistry with all her co-stars and her performances have been stellar.  This can’t be easy with the type of subject matter Sleepy Hollow presents i.e. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Moloch, Tribulations, Book of Revelations etc.  In the hands of a less capable actress, viewers might not have been convinced on the dangers and urgency of the situations.
