Now that I have finished all three of the current seasons of Wentworth, I’d like to discuss something I’ve been wondering about since Wentworth Season 1 – Are the prisoners smarter than the guards?

On several episodes, viewers have witnessed the prisoners of Wentworth Prison “pull the wool” over the eyes on the unsuspecting guards in schemes involving transporting and hiding drugs, hiding pregnancy during drug testing, stealing key cards, etc. Cunning Governor Ferguson was usually good at beating them at their own game.  However, Matt Fletcher was often a step behind.

So I ask, who do you think is smarter, the prisoners or the guards?
