Daytime Emmy Pre-Nominations have been announced and I am happy to see several of my favorite General Hospital actors on the shortlist of nominees.

 

General Hospital is currently the oldest remaining soap on daytime.  It will celebrate its 53rd anniversary this April.

The soap changed the way we look at daytime by introducing many controversial and gripping stories.  General Hospital also has had some memorable characters, the least of which is Lucas Lorenzo Spencer, aka Luke (Outstanding Lead Actor Nominee, Anthony Geary)
