#TheInspectors -Why It’s Important to Watch via @stacyamiller85 @CBSInspectors

When television offers entertainment while also telling a message, that’s important programming.  CBS has such a show as part of its Saturday morning ‘CBS Dream Team’ lineup:  The Inspectors.

The official description of the show according to CBS show website is “The Inspectors is a  scripted dramatic series set in Washington, D.C., inspired by compelling real cases handled by the United States Postal Inspection Service. In the series, Preston Wainwright (Bret Green), a determined teen who is thriving after being paralyzed in a car accident, works as an intern for his U.S. Postal Inspector mom, Amanda (Jessica Lundy), helping to solve crimes ranging from Internet scams, identity and mail theft, to consumer fraud.”

It is important to watch The Inspectors to learn how to protect yourself  and also someone you love so you both don’t become victims.  A recent episode featured “The Grandparents Scam” that targeted older persons.

Although the show airs on Saturday mornings and feature several young cast members like Bret Green, Harrison Knight and Erica-Marie Sanchez, it shouldn’t be dismissed as children’s programming.  The cases portrayed can happen to anyone.

I feel that more viewers should tune in to The Inspectors.  Each 30 minutes episode packs a lot of information but is entertaining so it doesn’t overwhelm or come off like a public service announcement.  I applaud the show’s creator, cast, crew and CBS.

The Inspectors airs Saturdays 10:30/9:30c as part of CBS Dream Team.
