The friendship of Francesca “Franky” Doyle and Sue “Boomer” Jenkins has been one of the strongest relationships on the series Wentworth.
However, there was a period of estrangement between the two prior to Franky’s parole. Boomer believed that Franky didn’t care for her as much as she cared for Franky, especially after Bea had Boomer’s hands placed in the steam press for Boomer ignoring her orders and beating Liz, and Franky didn’t stop it.
Fortunately, the two made up but Boomer never got to open up and tell Franky how she really feels. Now, for the first time ever, read Boomer’s goodbye to Franky.
The letter is fictional and is the product of the writer’s imagination. It has not aired on Wentworth.
Dear Franks,
I can’t believe you’re gone. What am I gonna do without you? I know you said I’m smart but I don’t feel I’m smart like you, I always needed you to help me. That’s why I was mad when you didn’t stand up for me. I love you, you’re my best friend. I hope you don’t forget me as you make new friends.
