Back Together Again #Shannara @Shannara @austinbutler @PoppyDrayton @ivanabaquero_ @AaronJakubunko via @erinwise82

Another perfect week for Shannara, a new King was crowned, we learn one of our trio is more important to the mission than thought, and a Rover became a savior.

Eretria was reluctantly sold to a human settlement in the middle of troll territory. They patch her up, from the wound she received last week. Of course, good ol’ Eretria has trust issues and tries to make her way out of the compound to find her friends.

image

Unfortunately, the leader is a smooth talker and convinces her to stay, as she’s too weak to search for her friends. He promises to send out a search crew for Wil and Amberle. She tells him all about what her and the others are up to.

image

Meanwhile, Amberle and Wil are searching for Eretria, not exactly sure where to look. Wil suggests that they continue on their mission without her but Amberle isn’t having it. Now how they have time to mess around and start getting naked with demons searching for them in troll country is beyond me. In the beginning stages of their tryst, they hear something and go investigate. Who do they find stuck in a trap set by trolls? The rope cutter himself, Cephalo.
Against Wil’s wishes, Amberle makes a deal with Cephalo to help find Eretria.

The Druid talks with Bandon, tells him how powerful he is. Warns him about the dark forces. He tells Bandon he thinks he is the next Druid, and wants to train Bandon.

Allanon also speaks with a heartbroken Ander. Ander doesn’t want to be King, he never wanted to be King. He tells Allanon hr plans to handover the crown to one of the Council members, this angers the Druid.

image

Fortunately, Ander does not give up the crown, instead he takes a vow to pretty much take out the darkness, to be a good King. It was a beautiful moment, very well acted. You could feel how proud Allanon was of the new king.

Back with the humans, Tye has made Eretria feel right at home, playing on her emotions. He shows her old guns from their ancestors time (our time hehe) and even shows her how to use it.
Later on, the humans are throwing a party, kinda like a rave without drugs (drugs are bad mmmkay).

image

Cephalo leads our elves to the human settlement then disappears. The humans quickly find him as he finds a dead elf hunter (the one that caught Eretria).
Wil and Amberle crash the party, a human woman sees them and tells them to change into some party clothes. Amberle overhears Tye’s lacky speaking about sacrificing Eretria to the trolls and sets out to find her and Wil. Wil finds Eretria buts she’s loving the humans and doesn’t wanna leave. The three bump into each other, Eretria saying Amberle only wanted to find her for the map the found in the previous episode. Amberle denies this as Eretria goes to retrieve the map.

image

One of the humans, a man in the med unit, tells Eretria she must leave. She must not let the others leave without her. Her body is the vessel, her blood the key. Knew my girl was extremely important!

image

Tye has caught Amberle, Wil, and Cephalo. Tied them to poles, ready to be sacrificed. But see Tye, you should teach Rovers how to use powerful weapons…..

image

Eretria gets the three loose but the quartet is in the middle of a shoot out with Tye and his weirdos. Mortally wounded, Cephalo tells Eretria he’s proud of her, and for them to leave and go save the world. He sacrifices himself so the trio could get out and save the world. That scene brought tears to my eyes, as the shock rolled across Eretria’s face. Tye got his in the end, BOOM!
RIP CEPHALO

How did you guys like last week’s episode? How are you guys liking the series? I, for one, am absolutely loving it. The story, the actors, the writers, they all pull it together so very well.
