Franky Doyle has been paroled. Now what?

My name is Franky Doyle and I’m finally free. Everything seems bigger or it may just be my imagination after being in that tiny cell for so many years.

I have an appointment about a job as a cook. I can handle that, I was a chef. But my Gidget (She loves when I call her that) keeps reminding me not to lose my temper. What does she think I’ll do? Clobber someone with a frying pan?

I can control my temper…maybe. No, yes- I can. I’m not going to screw up. I’m not going to let her down.

And I’m definitely not going to end up back in Wentworth!
