Is @CW_CrazyXGF ‘s Rebecca the Villain in Her Story? via @stacyamiller85 @Racheldoesstuff

Rebecca was on a romantic high after last week’s kiss with Josh.  But of course, what is up always comes crashing down as she and viewers learned on the most recent episode of Crazy Ex Girlfriend.

This article contains spoilers so if you haven’t seen the episode “Josh Is Going To Hawaii,” please do not continue reading.

As viewers of Crazy Ex Girlfriend know, Rebecca Bunch loves Josh Chan so much that she uprooted her life to follow him to West Covina.  Unfortunately, it seemed as though her feelings were one sided until Josh kissed her in last week’s episode. The problem- Josh already has a longtime girlfriend, Valenica who he also lives with.

Since Josh is a good guy, he decided to come clean to Valenica about the kiss. However, poor Valenica believes that Josh is planning on proposing.

When Rebecca accidentally overhear Valenica talking on her cellphone about “the proposal,” she starts feeling guilty. And later, Rebecca witnessed Josh’s kiss confession and his admission that he doesn’t love her, more guilt piled on.  Is she trying to come between a couple in love?  And trying to break up a princess and her prince?

What follows when Rebecca returns home is another Crazy Ex Girlfriend brilliant musical sequence in which Rebecca sees herself as a witch to Valencia’s princess.

Despite some questionable choices she’s made, I don’t believe Rebecca is the villain in her own story.
