I have discovered the power of Hulu. I know, I know, took me long enough. Man oh man, the shows on there, it was like jumping back in time. I was beyond stoked when I saw they had Highlander the TV series. I remember staying up late watching Highlander, praying I wouldn’t get caught being up so late.
Of course I am binge watching it, I mean who can resist a sexy shirtless Highlander?
“I’m Duncan MacLeod, born four hundred years ago in the Highlands of Scotland. I am Immortal and I am not alone. For centuries we’ve waited for the time of the Gathering, when the stroke of a sword and a fall of a head will release the power of the Quickening. In the end, there can be only one.”
Cue the theme music “Here we are, born to be kings….”
I have always loved this show and was truly upset when it ended. I really liked how they brought Connor Macleod from the movie series into the show right at the beginning. Let’s just say I’ve been a Highlander girl from the beginning.
Every episode had some immortal after Duncan, with Duncan claiming their heads. They gave us wonderful flashbacks, Duncan’s previous lives, the friends, the enemies, the loves, the losses, the hard times, the good times.
Follow me over the next few weeks as I binge this wonderful show. Every few episodes I’ll recap what’s been going on, introduce you to the characters as they arrive, and throw out some eye candy for ya đ.

Thanks for writing this! Duncan Macleod and Highlander was one of my favorite tv shows. Love Queen’s theme song and as a fan of period dramas like Poldark, this was a great show to watch. Plus, Adrian Paul was hot and the accent was to die for!
