Nashville has risen from the ashes!

It has been confirmed by CMT that they have picked up the drama for a fifth season of 22 episodes. The episodes will also stream on Hulu.

Brian Philips, President of CMT said in a statement “CMT heard the fans. The wave of love and appreciation they have unleashed for Nashville has been overwhelming Nashville is a perfect addition to our evolving line-up of big music specials, documentaries, and original series. We see our fans and ourselves in this show and we will treasure it like no other network. Nashville belongs on CMT.”

I agree, if any show is a perfect addition to CMT it’s Nashville. It is the perfect blend of country music and drama that is a right fit.  I’m pleased that I’ll be able to see the continuing stories of Rayna, Juliette, Deacon, Avery, Scarlett, Gunnar, Laila, Will, Luke, Maddie, Daphne and the other unique characters and talented actors.
