Laura Benanti, a multi-talented actress and singer with numerous credits, has appeared on Broadway, film and television.
Benanti is an award winning theater actress who has won a Tony, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award as well as receiving other nominations for her performances in such productions as Gypsy, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Swing and Into the Woods.
Her film credits include Take the Lead, Falling for Grace and Russian Broadway Shutdown. On television, Laura Benanti appeared in Eli Stone, Life on Mars, Royal Pains, Elementary and The Good Wife. More recently, Benanti had a recurring role as troubled singer Sadie Stone in Nashville and portrayed twins Alura and Astra in Supergirl.

I thought she was the best thing about “The Playboy Club.” She played a strong woman who took a situation and empowered herself. She also had the chance to sing.
