When last we left The CW’s Beauty and The Beast, reporter Grace Rose (Melissa Tang) had been killed by Grendayl right after Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) decided to trust her with the truth about beasts. And JT (Austin Basis) had convinced Tess (Nina Lisandrello) not to resign as captain by telling her that they would no longer expect her to compromise her badge by helping in the cover-up. Finally, Vincent came to Grendayl admitting that he was the beast they were looking for. With everything that is building up, tonight’s episode of Beauty and The Beast is going to be exciting!
Oh wait, there is no new episode of Beauty and The Beast as it is preempted until August 11. So what’s a die-hard fan to do? Scream at the network Gods for the injustice? No.
Regardless of whether Beauty and The Beast airs live, I must get my fill of it. After all, I’m a Beastie. And I’m sure I speak for other beasties out there. Here’s some ways to survive the no new Beauty and The Beast episode blues:
- Watch previous episodes. With three and a half seasons to choose from, you have your pick of exciting Beauty and The Beast drama.
- Engage other Beasties on social media. There are those who share your pain. Talk with them on Twitter. It may help you to cope with missing a new episode.
- Write fan fiction. Create your own Beauty and The Beast episode.
As for me, I received a Beauty and The Beast novel for my birthday last month. So, I think I’ll read it.
