It’s hard to believe that this time last year Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was just a new announced show on The CW that was several months away from premiering.

For me, the series title got me curious about watching. But as a read more about it and promos became available, my interest continued to grow.  After the pilot, I was all in, hook, line and sinker.

And like Rebecca Bunch, I had an affection for Josh Chan. He has that lovable, boyish charm that draws you in.  It’s no wonder that both Rebecca and Valencia were constantly vying for his affections throughout Season One.

Actor Vincent Rodriguez III brings that special something to his portrayal of Josh. Even though it appeared like he was stringing both Rebecca and Valencia along without deciding between the two, but that was far from the case.  Josh is a sensitive, caring guy and it was obvious that he cared for both ladies and was torn. With just a look, which I called “The Josh,” Rodriguez conveyed the emotions of his character better than dialogue could.

On this August 10 your birthday, I want to thank you Vincent Rodriguez III for endearing Josh in the hearts of viewers. Because of you and the talented cast and crew, like Rebecca followed Josh, viewers will follow Crazy Ex-Girlfriend as it moves from Monday to Friday nights this Fall.
