The sweeping saga of romantic hero Ross Poldark continues tonight with the return of PBS’ Poldark for Season 2.

When last we left Captain Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) he was arrested for murder and plundering after the ship wreck of George Warleggan’s (Jack Farthing) vessel.  It had been an extremely difficult time for Ross as Warleggan’s plot to get Poldark’s smelting company closed had succeeded.  This came fresh off the pain from the death of Ross and Demelza’s (Elizabeth Tomlinson) daughter Julia from putrid throat.

In Season 2, viewers can expect the Poldark/Warleggan rivalry to heat up.  And what will happen with the relationships in Ross Poldark’s personal life?  It’s obvious that he loves his wife Demelza but will old feelings for former flame Elizabeth (Heida Reed) be stirred?
