Preston (Bret Green) and Noah (Harrison Knight) are watching wrestler Casey (J. Benedict Larmore) spar with an opponent.  Suddenly, Casey collapses and a bottle of pills fall out of his bag.  Preston brings the pills to his mom but Amanda tells him that she can’t investigate whether the pills are safe because Preston took the pills without Casey’s permission and if they weren’t obtained via the mail it is out of the jurisdiction of the postal inspectors. Amanda tells Preston to bring the bottle to where it can be disposed of safely.  However, worried for the well-being of his friend, Preston does his own research of the company’s name on the label and talks with Georgia (Charmin Lee).  She echoes Amanda’s response, the best she can do is analyze the contains of the bottle but needs Casey’s permission in order to do so.

In other Jamestown news (no pun intended), Veronica is looking for the next big story. Her cameraman Noah (Harrison Knight) is at her side to film her interviews with students on whether they plan or did wash their hands as they go into or leave the restroom. Okay, not exactly anything to get the envy of Barbara Walters.  Veronica tells Noah that her parents are concerned about her choice in an elective while Noah mentions he is considering leaving school and going to Los Angeles to see whether he can make it in the film industry.

Recalling a conversation with his father (Carlos Bernard) in which Henry told him that the worst thing you can do is give up on a friend, Preston talks with Casey and convinces his friend that he is worried about him and concerned for his safety so he’d like to have his pills tested.  Casey agrees. Later, Preston meets with Amanda, Mitch and Georgia who reveals that the chemical testing indicate that the pills are in fact steroids.  But the worst part of it is that they are mixed with metal.

Meanwhile, a man (Jeff Ryan) who works for Wallace is telling someone on the phone that the orders are pouring in and that more crew will need to be hired to fill them.  At that moment, Casey places another order.

While talking with his mother about Casey’s steroid use, Preston assures Amanda that he’s never considered doing the same. He regains the use of his legs and get out of his wheelchair through hard work. Later when Preston goes to Casey’s dorm room, he finds his friend unconscious and shouts for someone to call 911.

Veronica and Noah review the footage of her news story trying to find something they can use.  When Preston enters, Veronica that she misses talking with him about things although Noah’s been great.  Preston does promise Veronica that he may have just the story she needs.

Casey is released from the hospital and thanks Preston for caring enough about him to help. Later, Amanda and Mitch go to Coach Murphy (Neko Parham) and tells him about the steroid drugs on campus. And because Casey ordered his supply through the mail, Amanda and Mitch now have cause and are about to get the information they need to track the perpetrators and arrest them. Bonus, Wallace enters at that moments and they finally get him too.
