The life of Princess Diana, the beloved “People’s Princess” is shown in The Story of Diana, a new two-part special airing Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10 on ABC.

The world was captivated by Princess Diana.  She was the epitome of beauty, grace and compassion.  Even in death, Princess Diana remains one of the most popular of the royal family.  I remember watching July 29, 1981 when then Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles in the fairy tale royal wedding.  I cried as those she was a member of my own family when it was announced that she had been killed in a tragic car crash on August 31, 1997

ABC is airing a new special beginning on Wednesday, Ausgust 9. Here is the synopsis from TV Guide: “Princess Diana’s life and legacy are explored through interviews with those who knew her best, as well as the world’s leading experts on her. Included: archival footage. Also: a look at how Princess Diana remains relevant.”
