The past couple weeks The Nerdy Girl Express has brought you interviews by two of the biggest iZombie fan accounts on twitter, @iZombieObsessed and @iZombieNation. This week we are pleased to bring you an interview of the biggest iZombie fan there is, @_jonathanwhite_. Not only does he run two twitter accounts (the other is @TweetMeUndead), he helps run the iZombieObsessed facebook page and runs the iZombie drinking game and iZombie Support Group. Whew! Check out his amazing interview below

Let’s talk iZombie

Why did you decide to start watching iZombie?

Been a big fan of zombies for as long as I can remember. In fact, I don’t consider it Halloween if I don’t watch at least one zombie movie to kick it off. So when I heard there was a show about a crime solving zombie, it immediately caught my attention.

Favorite thing about iZombie?

The Writing. The scripts are so dynamic. With a new character basically being introduced each week with Liv’s need for brains, I give props to the iZombie writers for going above and beyond with the detail they put into each week’s story.

Favorite iZombie character?

It used to be Ravi, let’s face it he rocks. But I’ve found myself leaning more towards Blaine this season. I really hope they take the Spike rout with him, but we’ll see.

Favorite episode so far? Why?

I don’t think I could pick a favorite episode, it’s just not possible.

Which iZombie character are you most like in real life?

I’m not really sure if I’m like any of them hahaha I identify a lot with what Liv is going through, but we all can, she’s a very relatable character.

What gave you the idea for the iZombie drinking game?

It all came about pretty easily actually, a lot of pieces were there I just had to put them in place. I was looking for a way to keep the fandom together during the off season, and had been looking up drinking games for personal use a week prior. When I realized just how much the fandom liked alcohol I put two and two together and out popped the #iZombieDrinkingGame

Was it difficult combining all the suggestions?

It was at first, I had never done anything like it before, so I wasn’t sure how to handle it. Thankfully iZombieObsessed was there to lend a hand and give me some pointers.

Have you reached out the show itself? Has there been any feedback from the cast or crew of iZombie?

Umm no, no feedback as of yet, I’ve gotten some retweets from Rob and the writers room but that’s about it. (That’s about it he says!)

What motivated you to create a fan account for zombies, @TweetMeUndead?

When I realized my main account was becoming more and more devoted to iZombie, I decided to make a 2nd account for zombies and generalized horror.

Is it hard helping out iZombieObsessed on FB with so many fans?

Actually not at all, there is something uniquely awesome about the iZombie fans; we all just seem to get along. We have this “Liv and let Liv” attitude I guess you could say. Plus, iZombieObsessed is a multitasking powerhouse! I have no idea how she does it all, but I find myself lacking for work most times hahaha.

How exciting is it to have lots of followers on your main account @_JonathanWhite_?

It’s pretty fun for sure, I’m thankful there are so many people willing to put up with me. XD

You’re quite popular, how do you manage to connect with so many people?

I try and fail a lot! I think I’m just as obsessed with the fandom as I am with the show XD

What do you enjoy most about interacting with fans/people on twitter and FB?

Getting to see everyone’s different points of view, and getting to share our interests.

Anyone ever mistake you for David Anders since the profile pic changes? You’ve changed the one pic of him around quite a bit.

hahahah Yes, it has happened a couple times now. You would think my name would let ya know, but I eventually had put a disclaimer in my bio lol XD

There is a movie re-watch every Friday that you almost always participate in, what’s your favorite part about it?

Getting to share my fav movies with a fun loving group of people.

Jon while very friendly is also a private person and I didn’t know how many questions he would answer for us, so I sent him several more hoping to have a few answered and to have a well-rounded interview. He surprised me big time by not only answering almost all of my previous questions, but also almost all of the extras! So here’s an added in depth part of the interview. Enjoy!

Are you into any other zombie franchises? If so, which ones?

I’m a HUGE fan of both Zombieland and Shaun of the dead, as well as Resident evil.

Do you like other horror creatures?

Oh yeah-Vamps, Zombies, Werewolves etc. Big horror fan.

Believe in aliens or ghosts or big foot?

Yeah life on other planets. There’s gotta be more out there, we can’t be the only ones.

Other favorite shows?

Buffy the vamp slayer, Angel, Adventure time, Bob’s burgers, Stargate SG1, Scream Queens and The Strain.

It’s a bit past Halloween, but what was your favorite costume you ever had?

It has got to be my makeshift twisty the clown costume from last year. Didn’t think anyone would know what it was but was surprised quite a few people knew what I was going for.

Have a favorite quote? If so, what is it?

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” Plato.

Sing? Dance? Play an instrument?

Heck no. Double Heck no! Yes, guitar and piano (Not Professionally) hahahaha

Favorite Book?

I don’t really have a fav book; one I’m quite enjoying right now though is Odd Thomas.

Coffee or tea?

Used to be tea, then coffee. Now I pretty much just drink a redbull in the morning.

Liv or Peyton?

Not sure what is implied here but Liv. XD

Left or right handed?

Ambidextrous

Final Question! Can we have a pic to make the tweople swoon?

No way! You know how I feel about cameras XD XD XD

Don’t worry readers; this is a running joke that we have with Jon. The demand for his face is high, but he refuses to give over the goods. Soon after though, I found a way to blackmail him into it (in the nicest way possible) and here for your swooning is Jon’s face (with his permission)!
