#HeroesReborn is Back

Heroes: Reborn returned Thursday night with episode 11 Send in the Clones. With only 2 episodes left, things are getting so intense. If you haven’t been watching, you are seriously missing some epic tv moments. This article will definitely contain spoilers, you have been warned 🙂

Malina and Luke are still one the run, still looking for Tommy/Nathan. (Please don’t give me a hard time because I called him Tommy, yes we know his name is Nathan, but after his memories were wiped he has been called Tommy….by just about everyone) They end up in a place like Wal-Mart/Kmart to pick up supplies. Luke goes for a gun, Malina wonders why, Luke lets her know that his powers are unreliable, plus some habits are just hard to break. When he offers to buy her a gun, but she can rely on her powers and doesn’t need one.

Still wondering what happened to Noah, HRG, where he is, how he got there. Malina doesn’t think he’s dead, neither do I. I have some speculations about that, but with the finale so close, I’d rather wait and see.

The power of social media kind of screwed Malina and Luke as someone caught her on video using her powers to stop a tornado, and now Quentin, Phoebe, and Harris are  hot on their trail. Quentin is feeling even more unsure of the side he chose when Malina is ordered to be killed, but his sister Phoebe has no issues with it whatsoever. Erica’s team intercept Malina nd Luke’s car completely surrounding them. Luke decides the best thing for them to do is jump out and run into a near by corn field. Both Malina and  Luke realize they can’t use their powers due to Phoebe. Luke tells Malina to run and he’ll hold them off, which Malina tries to reason with him that he can’t use his powers. His reply was definitely the best line of the entire episode “You can’t block a glock”. Yep that was his actual line. Malina being the girl she is, can’t leave Luke behind and goes back to try and help him. Unfortunately for Malina, Harris, Quentin, and Phoebe capture her. Luke shows up, kills the clone, and talks Quentin into lowering his gun.

They in turn capture Quentin and Phoebe, and Quentin tells everything, even with his sister ordering him to keep quiet. Just as Luke is going to kill Phoebe, after realizing she’s the cause of June 13th, Malina talks him out of it, telling him he doesn’t need anymore regrets.

Tommy is still in the future with Miko, aka Katana Girl. That good old trusty 9th Wonders comic book shows them having the conversation they are currently having. Tommy gets that they are all connected and all needed to save the world. They escape from some gateway guards and see Miko is dying….fading away….They read the comic more , she sees that her destiny is at Sunstone Manor. Tommy sends her back to present time Sunstone Manor, taking her ribbon from her hair to try and convince Erica that Miko is finally dead.

Erica, Hachiro, and hired guns show up in the future and Tommy convinces Erica that Katana Girl is no more. They return to the present day, Erica has collected the world’s best to be saved from the world’s end. Among them is Emily and Tommy’s mother. Being reunited with his loved ones, Tommy is ready for Erica to show him how to use his powers to take everyone wearing a special watch in present day to the future. Tommy would have to sit in one of Erica’s sadistic chairs that plug into his neck, which she and scientists will use to amp up his powers. Unfortunately for Tommy, Harris calls Erica and informs her Miko has shown up at Sunstone Manor, (he’s sending in the Clones but he was doing that in the midseason finale, if you remember). Erica realizes she’s been played and vows to take care of her Tommy problem.

Now at Sunstone Manor, Carlos, Farah, Taylor, and Rene start searching for Micah. Micah is believed to be able to stop Erica’s evil plan. Of course they split up. While searching,  Carlos and Farah come across Matt’s recording broadcast machine that is keeping all the evos in a trance and destroy it, then find Carlos’ El Vengador suit.

Evil Matt is in his office, looking freaked out, when Rene and Taylor enter. Apparently Rene’s powers are more than what they were in the original Heroes, because besides blocking powers he seems to be able to hurt Matt. Matt pulls a gun and shoots Rene, taking Rene’s ear and disrupting his powers, allowing Matt to capture Taylor and use her as a hostage to get out of his current situation, as well as use her to make sure him and his kid (which we have yet to see dangit) are transported to the future, seeing as Taylor is Erica’s kid. During this Matt uses his powers to reveal that Taylor is pregnant.

Carlos and Farah free some evos and Carlos is reunited with his nephew and his priest. Farah leads evos outside, while Carlos, the priest, and his nephew Jose, continue looking for Micah. They run into a guard and the priest is killed. Carlos and Jose still manage to free Micah, who looks to be completely out of it, still trance like.

Now for the best fight ever. Miko vs Harris! Harris has an axe for his weapon and Miko a spear. The fight is intense. At first they seem evenly matched until Harris gets the upper hand. Just as Harris is about to finish her, Miko stabs through herself and kills Harris, destroying all of his clones in the process. Miko then disintegrates. It was hard enough to have her die the first time, watching this second time didn’t make it any easier. RIP Miko, Katana Girl! You were definitely a hero!

Back inside, Carlos, Farah, Jose, and Micah go back to Matt’s office. Micah uses his awesome powers to tap into the computer….his plan…to reveal Erica’s plot to EVERYONE. Next we see him on all the screens in Time Square. He shows everyone video of Erica coaching a shape shifting evo, pretending to be Mohinder, to take credit for the June 13th attack. Micah tells the world Evos and non-evos are meant to live in harmony, that we’re all in this together.

Erica doesn’t seem to care about being outted to the world. She calls Joanne into her office and orders her to kill Luke and Malina. Joanne agrees……

Until next week……
