That was quite the ‘whopper’ of a lie wasn’t it? Just like Liv this past Tuesday, she couldn’t stop herself from telling the biggest tall tales imaginable. Read on for an honest reaction.
Many things happened and changed on this episode and all these separate story lines are finally starting to come together-for good and ill.  

First we find out that somehow Don E and Chief were able to catch Major. Blaine is more than happy to torture him for a bit for information. Major won’t reveal Max Rager, but does admit to only freezing zombies.
Eventually the two make a deal (stop hanging out with the bad guys Major!) and Major returns Blaine’s Dad from his deep freeze and in probably the most hilarious scene Blaine pranks his father. Of course we’re then reminded that Blaine is the bad guy when he lets some of his thugs torture his dad.

Blaine and Major aren’t the only ones doing bad things. We also find out that Drake can and will kill people to keep his cover. Mr. Boss entrusts him with the task of taking a guy out (that just happens to be Liv and Clive’s suspect) and he does it without any hesitation.

I want to make Drake the good guy here, because I do think he cares for Liv genuinely. His criminal life is overshadowing that and as our dear departed Lowell said in season one, “you deserve a better man.” I still miss him guys. *sobs*

What Drakes end game is, I’m not sure other than be loyal to Blaine. We do know Drake is still dependent on Blaine for brains and we also find out (through Liv’s visions) that it was Blaine’s men that almost murdered Drake. Is he waiting for some sweet revenge?

Poor Liv this week is stuck not only telling lies herself, but on the receiving end of them as she waits for Drake and is disappointed by his absence. Not to mention Major still not telling her the entire truth of the danger she’s in. Yes he will tell Blaine, but not Liv. Disappointing.

How did Liv get such lying brains? By the guy Major dug up of course! Helping Ravi with his seemingly endless search in that field, he finds a body but it’s far too old to be the one they want. They call it in and Liv eats the rewards.

I just now realized that she ate her brains as a burger this week and that represented ‘the whopper’ as in the burger and a big lie. The writers never cease to amaze me with their jokes and puns!

Not only does Liv’s new brains show her the awful almost death of Drake, but also where the bodies they’re looking for are located. Liv, Ravi and Major go out at night so Liv can show them where and they are able to find what they have been looking for!

Other important notes for this episode:

• Ravi’s test rats went berserk and ate their mommy and then died. So we know that Major and Blaine are on borrowed time right now.
• Clive tried to talk to Ravi about Liv’s personality shifts and how they always seem to correlate to their case. I’m so excited that Clive is getting closer to the truth!
