Twins Dipper And Mabel Pines are forced to spend the summer with their Grunkle Stan at the mystery shack in Gravity Falls ,Oregon.

While there, Dipper finds these mysterious journals that have numbers on them. Inside these journals there are entries and notes about Mysterious events.
While staying with their Grunkle, Mabel meets this gothic guy named Norm, who Dipper thinks is a zombie. It’s later revealed Norm is actually gnomes who want to marry Mabel, so Dipper then has to rescue her from them and he does.

Grunkle Stan lets them pick one item from the Shack. Dipper gets a hat with a pine tree on it and Mabel gets a grappling hook.
