Sleepy Hollow used the legend of The Jersey Devil as the focus of the latest threat to Team Witness. There were a few scenes in the episode “Dark Mirror” that stood out for this viewer.

The strange symbol that has been having an almost hypnotic force over Abbie comes into play as one of the elements involved in The Hidden One/Jersey Devil mystery.  Abbie is almost ineffective because of it when Ichabod’s life hangs in the balance due to being poisoned by the devil’s deadly tale.  Fortunately, she snaps out of it in time to create an antidote to save her friend.
