Buffy fans it’s your day to celebrate! Today is the 19th anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series. I thought that I would share some of my favorite Buffy moments with all of you lovely people because it’s the perfect day for it.
Now I will admit I haven’t watched Buffy from the very beginning. I didn’t start watching until I was a teenager and only watched the final season live. I would watch Buffy reruns on FX and on weekends I would hangout with my friend and watch her Buffy dvds. I even read some of the Buffy comics when they originally came out. I haven’t read them much, but I do know that Season 11 has been planned out and I think it will start being published before this year is out.

If you’ve been following along with my #BuffyLiveTweets over on Twitter, you know that I am currently rewatching my favorite season of the show. I have loved Season Two ever since I originally watched it. We get to meet Spike, Drusilla, Ethan Rayne, and the very evil Angelus. My favorite ever episode is Halloween from this season and I’ve watched it so many times that I can pretty much recite the entire episode. Willow as a ghost, Xander as a soldier, and Buffy in Victorian splendor are just so perfect. Besides that we get a small glimpse into Giles life before he became the tweed wearing Watcher we’ve come to know and love.

The musical episode, Once More With Feeling, is a very close second on my favorite episodes list. I own the cd and I have all of the songs memorized. I have even been known to occasionally belt them out whenever they get stuck in my head. I have performed, in the privacy of my own home, Spike’s song, Rest in Peace, rather dramatically probably verging on over 30 times. When we get to that episode in my live tweet I will probably do something fun like Periscope it or do some stuff on YouTube.
