Former Friends star Matthew Perry is slated to play Ted Kennedy in the cable channel Reelz  four part miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot which will begin shooting in May to air in the spring of 2017.

He will play Ted Kennedy in the years after the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy.  Katie Holmes will reprise the role of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, which she played in 2011.

Michael Prupas will serve as executive producer of The Kennedys: After Camelot.
