Alright so you probably think you’ve heard this one right, a priest walks into a bar, situation unfolds, and sort of funny punchline ties it all up. Well, this is Lucifer so don’t go in assuming anything, ever. Let’s get to is Lucifans, here’s your devilish recap of Lucifer.
The episode started with an unassuming pizza boy who finds himself at a very sexy rager, hosted in Lucifer’s gorgeously expensive apartment. The rent on that thing must be hell to pay every month. While Lucifer hooks our pizza boy up with a wad of cash and a trio of Brittanies, he apparently isn’t enjoying himself as much as he appears to be. We next see him at Dr. Linda’s where she draws out of him the fact that while he is surrounded by people all the time he still feels alone. Dr. Linda is an amazing therapist and overall character in this show.

Lucifer heads back to Lux and while he and Maz are fighting, she insists he needs to meet with a man who just came in. This is where we meet Father Frank, who thinks that Lucifer is his last hope in an attempt to shut down a drug dealer working out of his youth center. Lucifer initially refuses to help, because he seriously does not want to help this priest at all, he decides he wants Chloe to look into it. Mostly because he wants to blame every bad thing they find on Father Frank. When they head to the youth center they find Arrieta, the man the priest thought was a drug dealer, dead. Lucifer insists that Father Frank obviously killed him, but Chloe and the center kids disagree. Even Connor, who the priest has a special interest in ever since he was orphaned, and is the the biggest reason Frank came to Lucifer in the first place

While Lucifer keeps pushing Father Frank on his beliefs and insisting that he doesn’t see how he can believe in God and his plan, especially after the big reveal involving how Connor and Frank are connected. Lucifer actually finds himself liking Father Frank, the two even have an epic piano playing scene together. During the investigation Chloe informs the Father that Connor has actually been caught on tape dealing drugs, and it’s believed that he killed Arrieta and took over his dealing under the name Spider. Father Frank disappears while Lucifer is supposed to be watching him and this leads us to the big arachnid reveal. Something awful happens to Father Frank that leaves Lucifer angry and even more upset at his father.

While all of this is going on Malcolm keeps popping up and we learn that he wants Dan to do some dirty work for him. Though it turns out Malcolm is also doing some down and dirty business for Amenadiel, but we don’t know what exactly that is yet. You can watch the episode on Hulu and on FoxNOW to get all the rest of the intense details, including a confessional scene and a whole mess of diner food. This episode was amazing, especially the last ten minutes and it looks like things are just going to keep getting more and more intense.
