Nashville has been cancelled. And tonight is the Series Finale.

I can’t believe that a great drama like Nashville was cancelled. I have enjoyed the series since day one and don’t know how I’ll make it next season without seeing Rayna, Deacon, Juliette, Avery, Scarlett, Gunnar, Will, Layla, Luke, Maddy and Daphne. And the music is a country lover’s dream.

But as viewers know, cancellations don’t necessarily have to mean the end of a series. New life can be found on another network or online platform because of the tenaciousness of fans who launch campaigns to find “their show.” Will Nashville be lucky?

I can’t answer that question with certainty. We’ll have to wait to see. In the meantime, don’t miss the series finale Wednesday, May 25 at 10/9c on ABC.
