Twins Tia and Tamera Mowry first caught the world’s attention when they played twins Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell in the sitcom Sister, Sister in 1994.

The premise of Sister, Sister was that Tia and Tamera had been separated at birth and adopted by Lisa Landry (Jackee) and Ray Campbell (Tim Reid). A chance encounter at a mall department store caused them to be reunited with Lisa and Tia moving into the Campbell house to be near Tamera.  During Sister, Sister’s run from 1994-1999, viewers watched Tia and Tamera go through the normal teenage drama while the Mowry sisters grew up in front of our eyes.

After Sister, Sister’s run ended, both Tia and Tamera graduated from Pepperdine University.  The Mowry twins continued their acting careers, starring in many film and television roles.

These talented sisters are also enterprising business women and wives and mothers. Tia and Tamera are role models for many young women to aspire.

On July 6, Tia and Tamera celebrate their birthdays.  Here’s wishing them a day filled with happiness and love, surrounded by family and friends.
